This may not seem like a lot of snow to you, but for Toronto, it's almost record setting. I started clearing it Saturday night and came into the house looking like a living snowman. I finished the job Sunday afternoon in much more favourable conditions.On Thursday it's supposed to rain. And maybe again on Friday. Most of this will melt, thankfully, but the street drain in front of our house is under a metre of snow, so we'll likely have a wading pool for a few days. Nice.
To celebrate the last snowfall and the fact that it will disappear soon (and that we'll be sunning it up in Mexico three weeks from now), I bought some Brie cheese. We're not even having any company. Brie cheese. A great snack as I watch "Buck Rogers in the 25h Century".
Speaking of Brie .......... I gotta go.

My favourite snack is the really crispy, long and narrow New York breads, with a strip of proscuitto and a strip of Havarti.
That's what we buy when we're going for a drive. Easily assembled...so tasty.
mmmmm brie is nice ... on crackers ... with redpepper jelly on top ... my mom made a bunch of it a couple months ago ...
the drain ... that's like almost the first thing i clear. if i didn't i'd have everybodies snow melting ... running down the hill and stopping in our front yard.
have fun in mexico ... i'm jealous. insanely so. but happy for you two!
MMM fried Brie cheeze makes a wonderful snack.
